How can we design a foundational identity for a European educational initiative that encourages constructive dialogue — one that goes beyond the literal name “Debate, Not Argue” and supports the platform’s long-term communication goals?
02. Process
We led a brand discovery session with stakeholders from 7 different countries for Goethe Institute in Prague, facilitating alignment around the project’s values and crafting target audience persona.
Explored visual metaphors that reflect balance, exchange, and diversity of perspectives — without reinforcing conflict or confrontation through Stylescapes.
Designed a flexible symbol system that could scale across digital and print touchpoints, accompanied by a modular colour palette built for easy application across various formats and languages.
03. Outcome
Delivered a clear, adaptable design system that stakeholders described as “inspiring” and “on point” — helping unify communication across cultures. The brand identity laid a strategic foundation for future digital presence and user-facing materials, supporting both clarity and emotional resonance with audience
